The Resident Forum Art and Writing Show showcases original, resident- created poems, short stories, paintings, needlework, quilting, oil and watercolor paintings, pottery, computer art other artistic endeavors for an annual competition sponsored by AOPHA member providers across Ohio. Over the years, Regina Health Center residents, through the creative talents, encouragement, and support of the Activity Department, have routinely submitted a variety of art works to AOPHA’s regional shows. Their talents have been recognized by winning many regional and state-wide awards. |
The AOPHA Resident Forum Art and Writing Show displays work of seniors with a lifelong interest in the arts right alongside those who have never pickup a paintbrush or written a poem in their life,” says Chris Therens, Director of Activities. “It’s a great opportunity for residents and clients to demonstrator their talent with pride, and a chance for the community to appreciate what they can do.” |
