The event is hosted by LeadingAge Ohio, the advocate of not-for-profit services for older Ohioans. Residents, resident families and employees nominate individual front-line employees for their exemplary service and commitment to the mission and values of Regina Health Center.

    Regina Health Center has been named one of the best nursing homes in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The publication evaluated more than 15,000 homes nationwide in every state and nearly 100 major metropolitan areas. In Ohio, 130 nursing homes made the list.

During his “Half a Century of Cleveland Sports” talk, Dan shared personal stories of his high school days at St. Eds and Saint Ignatius and his time in the U.S. Army, before becoming a reporter.

    Holy-In-One Scores Another Victory »

    On June 19, more than 220 golfers gathered for the 18th annual Holy-In-One Golf Outing at the world-renowned Firestone Country Club. In addition to a day on the links, participants enjoyed a grilled lunch, buffet dinner, open bar, silent auction, live auction, door prizes and awards. All proceeds go toward the growing cost of caring for the religious, clergy and lay residents who call RHC home. In 2017, generous participants helped set a new record by raising more than $213,000!

    Regina Health Center in Top 1% in Ohio for Nursing Home and Residential Care Family Satisfaction »

    Regina Health Center scored in the top 1 percent of all Ohio nursing homes in the recently released Ohio Department of Aging family satisfaction survey. With a score of 93.2 out of 100, Regina Health Center placed fifth statewide among 541 nursing homes for which data were available. Regina Health Center, located in Richfield, was the highest scoring nursing home in Northeast Ohio in this survey.

    Resident Spotlight: Thank God for Irish Sisters »

    Sisters Anne and Joan Walsh, SIW, have taken a long, winding road to get to Regina Health Center (RHC). Their father was a farmer in Limerick, Ireland, and the sisters loved to help around the home and farm. From an early age, they knew they were made to serve. Four days before Christmas in 1948, they joined a group of about 20 young women who left their homes in Ireland for America to enter the order of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word (SIW.) They attended college and then began teaching at various Cleveland Diocesan schools.
