Short-term Inpatient Rehabilitation Services

Regina Health Center provides high quality skilled nursing care for persons needing short –term inpatient rehabilitation services or long term care. Our holistic approach to care provides for the person’s needs in mind, body, and spirit. The Inter-Disciplinary Care Plan Team works closely together with the resident and family to develop and then monitor an individualized plan of care for each person, to enable them to achieve their highest level of functioning. In addition to nursing care services, Regina Health Center provides Social Services, Pastoral Care services, Activities, and Dietitian and Dietary services. All of our 101 skilled nursing care beds are dually certified for both Medicare and Medicaid.

Many seniors come to Regina Health Center to recover from joint replacement surgery, stroke recovery or other medical conditions requiring specialized rehabilitation services. We work with all insurance carriers to help keep your out-of-pocket expense as low as possible. Assistance is available with insurance billing questions or insurance precertification when necessary.

We provide complex rehabilitation services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as well as other skilled nursing services. Rehabilitation services are provided for those seeking short-term inpatient services with a goal of returning home or for those within long term care. When rehabilitation is ordered, Regina Health Center offers a team of experienced professionals in a supportive, healing environment. Therapy services are provided by a cohesive team of licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists using the latest rehabilitation equipment and techniques.

The Rehabilitation department of Regina Health Center welcomes referrals from physicians, social workers, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, patients and families.

Regina Health Center attracts individuals from the surrounding communities such as Richfield, Broadview Heights, Brecksville, Cleveland, Parma areas, and the Cleveland suburbs. The majority of individuals come from Summit, Cuyahoga, and Medina counties.
