Regina Health Center has once again earned the highest rating in the federal Five-Star Quality Rating System of nursing homes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The five-star level signifies “much above average” quality and is the highest rating a nursing home can achieve. Regina Health Center also received a five-star rating in health inspections.…

On the Feast of our Lady of Lourdes on February 11, Regina Health Center celebrated the 175th anniversary of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine (CSA) with a full afternoon prayer service beginning with thanksgiving to the CSAs, anointing of the sick and adoration. The late Jean Metzger served as assistant administrator at Regina Health Center (RHC) for 12 years, focusing her profession – and heart – on the residents she loved so dearly. After passing away in 2023, RHC learned that Jean’s legacy would go beyond the lessons she taught those who followed in her footsteps: She included a gift to RHC in her will, amounting to more than $925,000.
