The late Jean Metzger served as assistant administrator at Regina Health Center (RHC) for 12 years, focusing her profession – and heart – on the residents she loved so dearly. After passing away in 2023, RHC learned that Jean’s legacy would go beyond the lessons she taught those who followed in her footsteps: She included a gift to RHC in her will, amounting to more than $925,000. On June 25, we will celebrate eight of these spiritually rich jubilarians who are celebrating significant milestones marking their years of dedication to God and Church. With the start of the New Year, there are several transitions to share. First is the bitter-sweet notice of the January 31st retirement of our Director of Nursing Marlene “Marti” Shivak, RN. Another transition to note is the promotion within the Sisters of Charity Health System of our Director of Fund Development Colleen Corrigan Day.
