6 Centenarians at Regina Health Center Celebrate 600+ Years

When Regina Health Center resident Alice Seymour turns 100 on March 18, she becomes the youngest member of what has typically been an exclusive group. Not this year. Alice will be one of six residents who are all over 100. It’s a first for Regina Health Center to be home to so many residents who are members of the centenarian club. Regina Health Center will host a special centenarian celebration on April 12 with the six 100+-year-old residents, their families and staff. Richfield Mayor Michael Wheeler will also be at the celebration to offer proclamations honoring their 600+ years of life.…

Third-Floor Assisted Living Renovation Project in process.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, the success of 30th anniversary events and the Holy-In-One Fund-A-Need, a refresh of the third-floor assisted living area is in process. The refresh will include new flooring, upgraded lighting and an updated color palette on the walls for a more inviting look and feel, and new furniture in the common areas. An updated third floor will help provide a better quality of life for residents. …

Regina Health Center is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023. The Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine opened Regina Health Center in 1993, collaborating with 22 Catholic religious congregations within the Cleveland and Youngstown Dioceses to ensure that the long-term health care needs of religious sisters, brothers and priests would be met with high quality health care services. Today, that mission remains as strong as ever, while also including serving lay people.…
